Description
Kiwi is originated from China and was also called as ‘Chinese gooseberry’.
It is a perfect snack when you make excursions or fruit on your breakfast muesli, but you can use the emerald coloured kiwi pieces also as decoration on a cake or a dessert.
Kiwi contains vitamin C, E and also some vitamins of the B-type, so it strengthens the immune system, fights viruses and has antioxidant effects.
Next to the vitamins kiwi is also rich in minerals, such as iron, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and potassium. Thanks to vitamin C a lot of these minerals are absorbed in the blood much better.
Kiwi strengthens the walls of the blood vessels, alleviates and thanks to the good absorption of minerals it supports the growth of bones and muscles. The fiber in kiwi helps prevent constipation and improves digestion.
